1. Authentication

The first step in using the nBox RESTful API is to authenticate the user, using the same credentials used for logging into the nBox GUI. A new user can be created through the System -> Users menu. Any authentication that works against the nBox GUI will work against the RESTful API.

nBox uses a standard http authentication, simple example of basic authentication using curl as a client:
