redBorder project pretends to become the best open source based distribution in high end networking environments. In order to do so, it won’t fear to tweak the OS in non standard ways as well as require specific hardware capabilities. The first outcome of the project is redBorder IPS, a high performance IPS/IDS System based on Snort with a centralized web based management system. redBorder is the commercial brand of ENEO Tecnologia S.L. for its Open Source products.
